Attention Vendors
Dear Vendors:
The Southern New Mexico Pride Planning Committee, which consists of representatives from the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered community and its allies, are currently looking for vendors for our 2011 Southern New Mexico Pride Festival.
Our event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 18, 2011 at Pioneer Women’s Park in Las Cruces. Events include a walking parade leading to a festival celebration that includes entertainment, speakers and vendors. Our festival celebrates and embraces the diversity within southern New Mexico.
We would like to invite you to set up a table or booth to provide information about your organization or merchandise you wish to sell. For those interested in a booth in which food items are to be sold, please make sure your food permits are current with the New Mexico Department of Health Environmental Division.
Last year, we had 100 vendors participate in our event and an estimated 2,000attendees. This year, we will cap our vendor amount at 100 so it’s important to receive your registration form as soon as possible. Southern New Mexico Pride is “on the map” and we are expecting a record-breaking crowd this year. Your presence as a vendor will add to the high standards set by last year’s participants.
The Southern New Mexico Pride Board is charging a small booth fee for participation in our event. We think you will find the $10 dollar fee for-profit booths and $5 fee for non-profit booths to be money well spent. This money will be used to support the operating expenses of future Pride events in our community.
If you are interested, please fill out the enclosed form and submit it no later than June 1, 2011 to:
